I actually started thinking about making a projects website a while back. It wasn’t until January 2011 that I decided to actually build one. However, initially, I wanted to build one from scratch… write all the html code, javascript, php, etc. After weeks of labor, I finally came up with an almost finished template, but I realized that it would take a LOT more work to add content.
So instead, I decided to move over to using WordPress since it has a CMS and the ability to make actual websites (even though it’s mostly used for blogging). WordPress also comes with many free themes, making designing the site much simpler. Of course, adding content to the site is also much simpler, since it comes with its own “wp-admin.”
